UCoach Lucco has been working at Taft as a teacher and coach since 2012. He is a graduate of North Park University ('12), where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and a teaching certificate. He was a member of the North Park Men's Soccer team and the National History Honor's Society. He has been around the game as a player, referee, and coach for over 22 years. His experience on the field includes Michigan Youth State Championships with prestigious clubs Michigan Wolves and Vardar III. He was a member of the Oregon Olympic Development program and a standout at Plymouth High School (Michigan) in both soccer and football. Maciej Myszka Assistant Coach-Junior Varsity Head Coach
Coach Myszka is the longest serving member of the coaching staff (13 years) and counselor at Taft High School. He has led the junior varsity team to 5 straight 10-win seasons and their first ever City Championship in 2015. His leadership and mentorship was recognized in 2016 with the Chicago Public League Assistant Coach of the Year award, an honor much deserved and long overdue. He is a graduate of Elmwood Park High School, where he was a standout on the soccer team, and continues to play for various men's soccer teams in the Metro-Chicago area. HIs dedication to the program is unmatched and his guidance has provided our boys the academic support they need to be successful both in and out of the classroom. He currently holds his USSF 'E' License.

Chris Gordillo Assistant Coach
Coach Gordillo is a graduate of both Taft High School & Western Illinois University. He has been coaching at Taft for five seasons starting his coaching career as the Freshmen boys coach and leading the team to consecutive 10 win seasons before making the jump to his current role as assistant varsity coach. He brings a wealth of experience working with kids as a coach and teacher. His knowledge of the game and his experience as both a player and coach at Taft are valuable assets that have helped build the program into one of Chicago's best. He is a Physical Education teacher at Budlong Elementary School in Chicago and coaches basketball, volleyball, and soccer at the school in addition to his teaching responsibilities. He is a strong role model and dedicated member of the Taft community. He has been the #1 assistant for the past four seasons and grown into the position, taking on more responsibility, and serving in many roles. Coaching Experience:

Norman Astudillo Assistant Coach-Frosh/soph Head Coach
Coach Astudillo is a graduate and former standout performer for the Taft Eagles. He was a captain for the varsity team and continued his playing career at Oakton College (IL) and Robert Morris University (Chicago) before injuries slowed his career. He is currently a PSRP at Budlong Elementary and continues to play in various men's leagues in the Chicago-Area.
